Vaccinations are the #1 cause of ailments / illness / disease leading to premature death in cats / dogs!

“Vaccinations can be responsible”, notes Roger Biduk, “for 70%+ of visits to the dreaded veterinary clinic, making up the bulk of their income $$$$. Considering that most every Dr. WhiteCoat I know sells garbage Hill’s Prescription Diet and Hill’s Science Diet containing horrible ingredients that may be dangerous at best and toxic at worst that don’t resemble in any way what an obligate carnivore cat or carnivore dog would eat in the wild, they give needless, dangerous and often eventually deadly frequent vaccinations [one-time shots are good for life immunity!] that weaken the immune system and cause all sorts of illness and disease leading to premature death and they also sell poisonous, neurotoxic, carcenogenic, chemical flea / tick / heartworm pesticides in the form of pills, collars, injections and topical applications, it’s no wonder that very, very few cats / dogs die from old age… however, mine do!”

And then the really big $$$$ comes in when Dr. WhiteCoat tries to ‘treat’ the ailments / illness / disease cause by the vaccinations in the first place… CHA-CHING!

“What we’re doing is literally poisoning them. It’s astounding how many animals under three years of age I see with cancer. Many factors contribute, but at the top of my list is vaccines. Conventional vaccines – especially if administered year after year in combinations – are totally detrimental to the immune system. How would you feel if you got a polio, chicken pox, measles, mumps, flu, and small pox at the same time every year? “I think that vaccines, just credited as the tamers of disease epidemics, are nevertheless the leading killers of dog and cats in America today.” Dr. Marty Goldstein, DVM, CVA, Founding Member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, Founder of Smith Ridge Veterinary Center, author of The Nature of Animal Healing: The Definitive Holistic Medicine Guide to Caring for Your Dog and Cat.

“The only safe vaccine is the one NEVER given. I dream of the day when my veterinary community stops sacrificing our animal friends at the alter of VACCINATIONS!” Dr. Stephen Blake, DVM, BS, CVH, CVA

“Every skin problem you see is due to vaccinations without fail. Later in life, arthritic situations and degenerative spinal diseases are the result of vaccines. The rabies vaccine in dogs and cats causes so many problems it isn’t funny…. personality changes, skin changes, damage to the thyroid and endrocrine systems. It lowers the immune system tremendously. The animal becomes fair game to just about any disease. Vaccines, particularly rabies, are a political and economic scam being forced upon pet owners because they do not know the truth. On average, vaccines cost 60 to 95 cents per dose.” Dr. John Fudens, DVM, HMC, world-renowned pet vaccine researcher… immunosuppressants likes Apoquel, Atopica and steroids [i.e. Prednisone] also severely compromise and even shut off the immune system and make things infinitely worse while deadly NSAIDS and narcotic opioids severely compromise and harm the liver, kidneys, immune and neurological systems.

“I was once a conventional veterinarian. Here’s what I’ve learned: Most ‘prevention’ actually CAUSES illness!

“It’s no longer in your best interests to turn that responsibility over to Dr. WhiteCoat [$$$$], as he’s not on the same path, especially in the most important piece of health care you must decide: vaccinations!

“There are some things that will, predictably, cause illness in your animal. Most of these are commonly recommended by Dr. WhiteCoat! The things we do medically to those in our care are most often the very reason they become ill!

“Does your physician send YOU reminders every year [or every 3 years] to come back for more vaccinations? Ummm. No. Why not? Because your physician knows you’re immune from your early life vaccinations and there’s no need to repeat them! And, if you’re into vaccinating every rescue you care for, please provide us with the studies showing that’s a safe procedure. We’ll stand by!

“Am I the only one that cringes when I hear the words “annual” and “vaccinations” in the same sentence? Science knows better than this for at least twenty years [actually 40+ years] now and any vets who cling to this still are simply grabbing your money while putting your dogs at risk of life long allergies or worse, life shortening auto immune disease.” Dr. Will Falconer, DVM, CVH

“I have seen many chronic illnesses in dogs and cats following vaccine use. If the animal is healthy to start with and mature enough to respond appropriately, then one vaccination is sufficient for life immunity in most instances. It is far better to vaccinate for one thing at a time than combined, multiple diseases in one injection that are very unnatural and confuse the immune system. One of the saddest things in our practice is to restore a dog’s health (sometimes after prolonged and careful work) only to have the animal suffer a relapse and go into a decline after we acquiesce to a required rabies vaccine.” Dr. Richard Pitcairn, DVM, PhD, CVH, Former President of the Board, the International Foundation for Homeopathy, Former Director, Animal Natural Health Center, Inc., Founding member of The Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy, Former President of The Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy, author of ‘Dr. Pitcairn’s Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs & Cats’.

“Routine vaccinations are probably the worst thing we can do for our animals. They cause all types of illnesses…” Dr. Christina Chambreau, DVM

“I think that vaccinations are the leading killers of dogs and cats in America today! Dr. Mike Kohn, DVM

“I think that vaccines, just credited as the tamers of disease epidemics, are nevertheless the leading killers of dogs and cats in America today.” Dr. Marty Goldstein, DVM, author of The Nature of Animal Healing: The Definitive Holistic Medicine Guide to Caring for Your Dog and Cat.

“Over the years, a variety of different studies have confirmed that what we were taught and told by vaccine companies is not true.” Dr. Peter Dobias, DVM

“It’s very disappointing to me to still have distemper, parvo and adno given every year when we know it provides a life of immunity,” Dr. Ronald Schultz, DVM, BS, MSc, PhD, DACVM, Immunologist Chair of Pathobiological Sciences at the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, lead scientist of the Rabies Challenge Fund.

“Vaccination at its core is neither a safe nor an effective method of disease prevention” Dr. Tetyana Obukhanych, Ph.D, Immunologist

“I promise you this – annual [frequent] vaccination is coming to an end. We will look back in horror at what we used to do.” Catherine O’Driscoll, author of What Vets Don’t Tell You About Vaccines and Shock To The System: The Facts About Animal Vaccination, Pet Food and How to keep your Pets Healthy.

“As early as 1978 leading veterinary vaccine researchers and immunologists have been warning veterinarians not to repeat vaccines. The lethal virus vaccines were good for the entire life of the pet.” Dr. Patricia Jordan, DVM, CVA, CTCVH, Vaccine Researcher & Herbology

Roger Biduk - Vaccinations most people don't know vaccinations don't wear out; Dr. Karen becker

“Most people don’t realize that vaccines don’t “wear off” or “run out”; once an animal is immunized against most viral diseases, they are protected for life.” Dr. Karen Becker, DVM, ND

“Vaccines for diseases like distemper and canine parvovirus, once administered to adult animals, provide lifetime immunity. Are we vaccinating too much?” Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, No. 4, August 15, 1995, pg. 421

”We now know that booster injections are of no value in dogs already immune, and immunity from distemper and vaccinations last for a minimum of 7 years based on challenge studies, and up to 15 years (a lifetime) based on antibody titer.” American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) 2003 Canine Vaccine Guidelines, Recommendations, and Supporting Literature, a report available only to veterinarians, not lay people, states on page 18

“What I have seen is that the level of [rabies] antibodies after one vaccine creates sufficient protection.” Dr. Peter Dobias, DVM

“On average, vaccines cost 60 to 95 cents per dose.” Dr. John Fudens, DVM

Like most pet parents, I used to get annual phone calls and folksy “reminder” cards in the mail from Dr. WhiteCoat’s office telling me that it’s time for my pets’ “annual shots” which is against AVMA regulations!

Roger Biduk - Vaccinations over-vaccination kills, ban Banfield; Dr. John Robb; Stamford AdvocateI don’t get those reminders any more because my pets only set foot in a vet’s office once in their lives for neutering… that’s what a strong and vibrant immune system does – NO VET VISITS and happy, healthy pets for life… and a happy me! My Siberian Husky, His Story and Diet.

We humans don’t get annual childhood shots or repeated vaccinations every few years throughout our lives, so why do our pets… why in the world are we injecting such poisons so often into our pets… hmmm?

To find the answer to that question, you just have to follow the money trail… vaccines generate annual quantum billions of $$$$ / year for BigPharmaMafia, the veterinary industry, the medical-industrial complex and last but not least, your lousy, unethical and / or unknowledgeable corner allopathic veterinarian!

But the really, really big $$$$ (cha-ching) eventually goes to your vet and drains your bank account faster than water draining down your kitchen sink when your cat / dog comes down with serious and most often terminal illness / disease of the autoimmune system, kidneys, liver and the plethora of cancers leading to prematue death that are caused by:

• Vaccinating too early [before 16-20 weeks]!

Roger Biduk - Vaccination education before vaccination 27• Over-vaccinating [one-time is good for life immunity!

• Feeding low-quality commercial pet foods including “prescription diets”!

• Prescribing powerful and potentially dangerous and deadly drugs such as steroids [i.e. Prednisone], NSAIDs [Rimadyl (carprofen), Metacam (Meloxicam), Deramaxx (Deracoxib), Previcox (Firocoxib), Etogesic (Etodolac), Zubrin (Tepoxalin), Novocox (Carprofen), Vetprofen (Carprofen), Carprieve (Carprofen), Quellin (Carprofen), Orocam (Meloxicam), Loxicom (Meloxicam), Meloxidyl (Meloxicam)]and antibiotics like candy for anything and everything!

• Giving poisonous, neurotoxic, carcinogenic flea / heartworm / dewormer chemical pesticides in the form of pills, topical applications, injections and collars whose active ingredients are sensitizers and irritants that cause terminal cancer, terminal auto-immune disease, terminal neurological disorders, reproductive and birth defects and terminal liver and kidney disease in people and animals which may include ProHeart 6, Revolution, Bayer Advantage, Bayer Advantage II, Bayer K9 Advantix II, Hartz UltraGuard Pro, Hartz UltraGuard Plus, Hartz First Defense, Bravecto, Bayer Seresto, Interceptor, Heartgard, Parastar, Parastar Plus, Pentagon, Parastar, Parastar Plus, Heartgard Plus; Tri-Heart Plus, Vectra 3D, Capstar, Sentinel, Frontline, Safe-Guard, Trifexis, NexGard, Comfortis, Zodiac, Prowormer, Nemex 2, Droncit, Drontal Plus, Panacur, Heartgard Chewables, Iverhart Plus, Iverhart, Zimectrin or Advantage Multi among others…. and it’s all preventable by AVOIDING vets who do any of the above!

Roger Biduk - FDA Poison scullMany of you, as responsible pet parents, have had a good feeling leaving Dr. WhiteCoat’s office thinking Dr. WhiteCoat is looking out for the best interest of your animal companions, and the $200 of your hard-earned money you just plunked down on having Fluffy and Fido vaccinated will protect them from a host of illness and disease… you’ll DEFINITELY be rethinking that after reading on! [that’s Dr. John Robb, DVM in the photo picketing against Banfield Pet Hospitals and the dangers over over-vaccinating!].

While I don’t vaccinate and it’s a major reason my cats now live till 26 yrs. and dogs till 20 yrs. with ZERO vet visits except for neutering, I’m not against vaccinations.

I’m against unethical and / or unknowledgeable veterinarians [which make up 99% of the over 7000 Dr. WhiteCoats whose work I know of!] and their member associations such as the AVMA, AAHA, AAFP, NASPHV, BVA, AVA, CVMA, etc. who have vaccine protocols that are deadly to pets and bank accounts!

For those pet parents who do chose to vaccinate, here’s the best and safest vaccine protocol:

• NEVER vaccinate a puppy before 16-20 weeks… maternal antibodies give protection and reject vaccines useless as invaders [which is why 50% of vaccinated animals get the disease they were vaccinated for]! Vaccinating too early [unethical and / or unknowledgeable breeders and vets vaccinate as early as 6-8 weeks] comprimises the major organs and a very immature immune system that matures at around six months!

Roger Biduk - Vaccinations would you vaccinate me knowing the risks and benefits 28• If you want to be extra-protective, don’t socialize your puppy with other dogs till 16-20 weeks.

• Give ONE antigen of parvovirus… distemper 4 weeks later… BOTH ARE GOOD FOR LIFE IMMUNITY!

• NEVER GIVE BOOSTERS!

• NEVER give mumbo jumbo, whombo combo “vaccines cocktails” DHPP, DHLPP, DHLPPC, DA2LPPC, 6-Way, 7-Way, 5-in-1, 7-in-1, etc.!

• Give one-time rabies only at seven months or later [none is best!]

• NEVER, EVER vaccinate your indoor cats for ANYTHING!

• AVOID dangerous non-core vaccines that don’t work including those for Leptospirosis, Lyme disease and Bordetella [Kennel Cough]!

• The best and safest way to immunize against parvovirus and distemper is without dangerous vaccinations, the way Mother Nature has been doing it for 40 million+ years as explained by the great Dr. Will Falconer, DVM, CVH “Prevent Parvo and Distemper Without Vaccination“.

Here’s what some of the very best veterinarians and vaccine researchers have to say on the subject of pet vaccinations:

Here’s What Vets Learned in Vet School About Vaccinations – Not Very Much!

Vets bad3

Dr. Peter Dobias, DVM: “Over the years, a variety of different studies have confirmed that what we were taught and told by vaccine companies is not true.”

Dr Arthur Freedman, DVM: “When I received my training, little was known about duration of immunity and vaccines. I was not informed about possible short term or long term adverse effects of vaccination.  Once in practice, I observed immediate Type 1 hypersensitivity reactions (anaphylaxis, wheals, vomiting and diarrhoea).  I’ve also been able to correlate seizures and autoimmune haemolytic anaemia with vaccination.”

Dr Stephen Blake, DVM: “I emphatically do not believe that I was taught adequately with regard to the vaccine issue.  I was taught to believe vaccinations were synonymous with immunization. They are two separate entities.

“I was taught vaccines were safe and it was implied there had been safety studies done on them before they were used on the general public. They are not safe and there have not been any safety studies done on any of them.

“I was taught that if something adverse happens within a few hours after immunization it was related to the vaccines but, if it happened later than that period of time, it had nothing to do with the vaccines. The truth of the matter is vaccines can set up a latent condition that may show up within a few hours or years after immunization. “I was taught you needed to vaccinate every year to boost animals’ immune systems. There are no studies to show that annual boosters are ever indicated or that there is any science to support annual vaccines to boost an animal’s immune system. I was never taught that mercury and aluminium hydroxide, which are in  the vaccines and can cause cancer, are neurotoxins and can trigger autoimmune disease.”

Roger Biduk - Vaccinations my life is in your hands 29Dr Jeff Feinman, DVM: “My training in vet school was not complete with regard to the harmful effects that vaccines have on the immune system.  The scientific evidence was not properly explored by the eighties. Vaccines were designed to help stimulate immunity.  Current research is proving just the opposite however.  Even my graduate school immunology course (attended mainly by MD students) was incomplete.”

Marcia DuBois Martin, DVM, CVA: “I have been out of school for over 20 years and don’t remember much about what we were taught on the vaccine issue, except that vaccines were very safe with the exception of some very rare vaccine reactions (anaphylaxis and urticaria) and that the diseases they protected against were very dangerous. Annual revaccination was safe and effective. I don’t remember hearing anything about duration of immunity or long term side effects.”

Dr. Mark Carpenter, MRCVS says: “Vaccination in college was skimmed over with little discussion of potential risks involved.  In practice I have seen what I believe to be vaccine related problems of skin disease (allergic); inflammatory bowel disease; and epilepsy which appear to have been triggered or coincided with vaccination.”

Dr Michael Dym, DVM: “Our training in veterinary school was not adequate with regards to immune system reactions in our animals.  We were taught a one size fits all vaccination program.  There was nothing taught about the chronic immune reactions that can occur weeks, months or years later after vaccination in certain susceptible animals.  From personal conversation with Ron Schultz, renowned veterinary immunologist,  I learned that these important concepts are not taught in modern veterinary schools.”

Roger biduk - Vaccination never vaccinate when I'm sick 31Dr Erin Zamzow, DVM: “The science on vaccination in dogs, cats and horses was not fully explored or taught at the time we were in school.  I graduated in 1990. At that time, Dr. Ron Schulz had already done the research showing that there was no scientific basis for yearly vaccination in dogs and cats.  Why was this not emphasized?  For years I questioned this practice, knowing that there could not be any reason other than fear and financial gain for yearly or even every three year vaccines in dogs and cats.  Part of my disillusionment with veterinary school is due to this obvious oversight in teaching about the science of vaccines and the immune system interactions and what is best for our patients.”

Dr. Patricia Jordan, DVM, CVA, CTCVH & Herbology, holistic veterinarian, vaccine researcher and author of “Vaccinosis: The Mark of the Beast” and “Emotions and Biological Harmony in Humans and Pets”; “We had no training on vaccination – even those teaching us didn’t know. I wasn’t taught very much in immunology either. This is why Dr. Ron Schultz [DVM, BS, MSc, PhD, DACVM, Immunologist Chair of Pathobiological Sciences at the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, lead scientist of the Rabies Challenge Fund] says, and I agree with him,  that “veterinary medical doctors have no business making vaccine recommendations as they do not have enough education in vaccinology or immunology. Unfortunately that also goes for those teaching the senior students! I would carry this over to the medical doctors and pediatricians. None of them should be making vaccine recommendations. I wouldn’t allow the vaccine companies to make the call either. Nor the regulatory agencies since they don’t even know what it is they are regulating / licensing. This is the inconvenient truth!”

Roger Biduk - Bordetella causes the disease; Dr. Peter Dobias 30Dr Ronna S Kabler, DVM: “My training on the vaccine issue was completely inadequate.  We learned the science of immunology and how vaccines work, but no science as relates to the actual practice of vaccinating animals.  As a new vet in private practice, it was like one was brainwashed or on autopilot. It was as if any immunology training was quickly forgotten.  ‘All dogs and cats needed their immunizations in a timely manner.’  There was no thought that we were possibly doing any damage.”

Dr Liz Fernandez, DVM: “We weren’t taught adequately about vaccines in vet school.  We were told that we could not over-vaccinate: ‘better safe than sorry’.  We were given information on virology but not on how vaccines actually work or any studies or rigorous research data.  We did get the information on hive like reactions in a very small subset of the population. “In retrospect, vaccine reactions were staring right at me.  However, I was very brainwashed into believing that they were safe (except for the obvious type 1 hypersensitivity reaction) so I did not connect the dots.”

Dr Ihor Basko, DVM: “We weren’t taught adequately on immunology; immunology is very difficult to understand.  Vaccine companies influence how this is taught.”

Dr Christina Chambreau, DVM: “Our training was incomplete and confusing.  We learned about long lasting immunity in immunology, but later in clinics were told to give yearly. We were not taught to learn and question – just to memorize.  Since becoming an integrative veterinarian, I can say there is no disease that I have not connected to vaccines in certain animals.”

Roger Biduk - Bordetella worthless vaccine; Holistic ansd Organix Pet ShoppeDr Judy Jasek, DVM: “My training was different to what I have come to believe is appropriate in my own practice.  We were trained in vaccination protocols per veterinary school and manufacturer recommendations.  We were not, however, educated in the potential long-term effects of vaccinations.”

Dr. Dorothea Hofman, DVM, BVSc (Hons) IVAS: “I don’t believe my training in vaccination was adequate at college.  Other options and the side effects of vaccination were never mentioned – only the ‘benefits’ of vaccination were ever discussed.” What is clear is that vets have been misled by their training, and by colleges which rely upon industry funding.  The colleges themselves are being let down by governments which make it necessary for them to rely upon industry funding.  It’s time we pet owners stood up for the animals.

The Big Picture

Dr. Richard Pitcairn book

“I was especially skeptical at first. If anyone was pro-vaccination, I was; I can assure you that I didn’t come to this conclusion on any basis other than clinical experience. I’m finding that the chronic disease we’re seeing in dogs seems to be related to the effects of excessive vaccinations.” the great Dr. Richard H. Pitcairn, DVM, PhD., Veterinary Immunologist; author of Dr. Pitcairn’s Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs & Cats; President of the Board, the International Foundation for Homeopathy 1985-86; President, Animal Natural Health Center, Inc. 1985-96; Founding member of The Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy 1996; President of The Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy 1996-1998.

“Despite having plenty of “scientific evidence” that vaccinations should not be repeated, still the majority of the veterinarians continue to vaccinate yearly.
“This is unethical practice and worse, it is driving the clients companion animals into states of disease from the dysregulated immune system that results from the unnecessary vaccines.
“I consider it criminal action to then extort money from the veterinary client for drugs and such to treat the vaccine induced diseases vaccines create….essentially the entire branch of medicine we know of as “internal medicine”. Dr. Patty Khuly, DVM, BA, MBA

“Every year, over 30 thousand dogs and cats in the U.S. die from adverse reactions from unnecessary vaccines. The American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the American Animal Hospital Association as well as twenty-two schools of Veterinary Medicine in the U.S. have endorsed reductions in the numbers and frequency of vaccinations recommended for pets. More and more research has confirmed that most vaccines are unnecessary and potentially harmful. And yet 90% of the Veterinarians in the United States have ignored these guidelines, and continue to give vaccines which have been proven to be unnecessary and potentially harmful”. Dr. Bob Rogers, DVM

“For some readers the very idea that vaccines are anything but wonderful and life-saving may come as a surprise, and it’s not a very pleasant one.” Dr. Richard H. Pitcairn, DVM, PhD

“From one’s experience in the medical field you can put one and one together and realize that when we do see ill animals, those illnesses often occur right after vaccination.” Dr. Michael Goldberg, DVM, ‘Vets Say Shots May be Deadly’ Nicholas Read, Vancouver Sun

“The CVMA recognizes that vaccination protocols based on label recommendations are largely unsupported by controlled scientific studies for duration of immunity or protections from disease. As such, the protocols are only guidelines for use.” Statement issued by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association on vaccine protocols. [So the CVMA is saying not only do they not know how long vaccinations are good for they don’t know if they work at all!….. Still think this is an ethical business…?].

“A practice that was started many years ago and that lacks scientific validity or verification is annual revaccination. Almost without exception there is no immunologic requirement for annual revaccination. Immunity to viruses persists for years or for the life of the animal. The practice of annual vaccination in our opinion should be considered of questionable efficacy…” Current Veterinary Therapy XI, a 1992 conventional veterinary textbook, in a section on dog and cat vaccinations written by Dr. Ronald Schultz, DVM, BS, MSc, PhD, DACVM, Immunologist at the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin.

and Tom Phillips, DVM, Scripps Institute.

“Veterinarians are charging customers $360 million a year [in Texas alone!] for vaccinations that are not necessary. Not only are these vaccines unnecessary, they’re causing harm to pets.” Dr. Bob Rogers, DVM

“You may be a party to a potential class action lawsuit arising from the misrepresentation of the need for vaccinations for your pets. These vaccinations include:

1) Annual vaccination for Canine Distemper, Parvovirus, Feline Distemper, Rhinotracheitis and Calcivirus.
(Scientific studies indicate that repeat administration of these vaccines provides no beneficial effect.)

2) Corona Virus vaccination.
(Scientific studies indicate dogs over 8 weeks old are not susceptible to this disease.)

Syringe on a twenty dollar bills background3) Leptospirosis or Lyme Disease vaccination.
(Research indicates these diseases are rare to non-existent in Texas and many other parts of the country.)

4) Feline Aids vaccine, Feline Infectious Peritonitis vaccine, or Giardia vaccine
(Scientific studies have shown these vaccines to be ineffective.)” Dr. Bob Rogers, DVM
. See the lawsuit
here.

“Consider this… One dose of rabies vaccine costs the vet about 61 cents. The client is typically charged between $15 and $38, plus a $35 office visit. The markup on the vaccine alone is 2,400 percent to 6,200 percent—a markup equivalent to charging $217 for a loaf of bread. According to one estimate, removing the one-year rabies vaccination and consequential office visit for dogs alone would decrease the average small vet’s income from $87,000 to $25,000 and this doesn’t include cats or other vaccinations!” Read this and other great information on pet vaccinations here.

Roger Biduk - Book trust me I'm not a vetAccording to James Schwartz, author of Trust Me, I’m Not a Veterinarian, “63 percent of canine and 70 percent of feline vet office visits are for vaccinations. Clearly, radically changing the vaccine schedule for dogs and cats would result in a huge economic loss for any veterinary practice that is built around shots. And chances are the vaccines you are paying so much for are creating even more income for vets, because the adverse reactions and other medical issues caused by the vaccines keep Fluffy coming back often!” Read this and other great information on pet vaccinations here.

Vaccines Schedules…Where’s the Science?

“…that protocol has been totally arbitrary. It’s not based on the duration of immunity studies. The public and veterinarians have become oversold on the vaccine as a cure-all.” Dr. Dennis Macy, vaccine specialist at Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Roger Biduk - Vaccination this giving finger“Annual revaccination provides no benefit and may increase the risk for adverse reactions. The percentage of vaccinated animals (those vaccinated only as puppies) protected from clinical disease after challenge with canine distemper virus, canine parvovirus and canine adenovirus in the study was greater than 95%.” Dr. Ronald Schultz, DVM, BS, MS, PhD, DACVM is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Pathobiological Sciences at the School of Veterinary Medicine, UW-Madison and co-lead veterinarian of the Rabies Challenge Fund.

“Dr. Jean Dodds, DVM a veterinary hematologist and immunologist in greater Los Angeles says annual vaccines began to be prescribed in the 1950’s… Back then, she says, drug companies got together with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and decided without any scientific test to support their position that vaccines should be administered once a year. ‘When the public found out, they were horrified’ she said. ‘That this was never based on any scientific fact’.”Vets Say Shots May be Deadly’ Nicholas Read, Vancouver Sun

“According to the landmark 1992 study by veterinarians, Dr. Tom Philips and Dr. Ronald Schultz, the practice of giving animals vaccines lacks any scientific validity whatsoever. ‘Almost without exception, there’s no immunological requirement for annual re-vaccination’ they said in their study entitled Canine and Feline Vaccines.” ‘Vets Say Shots May be Deadly’ Nicholas Read, Vancouver Sun

“Rob Ashburner, a former president of The BC Veterinary Medical Association is more blunt, ‘There is no hard scientific evidence to say if vaccines should be given every year or three years or five years or once in a lifetime [or at all]… no one knows and it’s not in the interest of drug companies who make billions manufacturing [and veterinarians selling] pet vaccines to find out.” Vets Say Shots May be Deadly’ Nicholas Read, Vancouver Sun

Roger Biduk - Vaccination supply“I believe that before we continue to inject foreign substances year after year into our pets which I believe can cause them harm, that we should first make sure they absolutely need it. If they don’t, why do it?” Dr. Michael Goldberg, DVM, ‘Vets Say Shots May be Deadly’ Nicholas Read, Vancouver Sun

“If 25% of my business were vaccinations, I would be potentially reluctant to decrease that and only vaccinate every few years.” Dr. Michael Goldberg, DVM

“In fact, the only reason they [vaccinations] continue to be recommended annually is that that is how long drug manufacturers guarantee their efficacy. They should last longer, but no one knows, and its not in the interest of drug companies [or veterinarians[, who make billions manufacturing pet vaccines to find out. Dr. Robert Ashburner, former President of the BC Veterinary Medical Association and former president of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.

“We should not allow politics and tradition or greed to enter the decision [on frequency of vaccination]. Changing vaccination schedules doesn’t have to mean less profit, but that you have more income from some clients and less from others. Veterinarians and the industry need to have guts to be honest with ourselves and assess the risk and not be trapped in tradition.” Dr. Dennis Macy in “Are We Vaccinating Too Much?” AVMA Journal, 1995

“Why would anyone,” asks Roger Biduk, “use toxic, carcenogenic, chemical flea/tick/ heartworm poisons in the form of pills, injections, collars or spot-on applications on their cats or dogs? The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has jurisdiction over these because they’re insecticides/pesticides!  Even the EPA says these products are dangerous. And people wonder why there’s so much cancer now in cats and dogs!”

Roger Biduk - Vaccinations vet holding dog by tail“Routine vaccinations are probably the worst thing that we do for our animals. They cause all types of illnesses but not directly to where we would relate them definitely to be caused by the vaccine. Repeating vaccinations on a yearly basis undermines the whole energetic well-being of our animals. Animals do not seem to be decimated by one or two vaccines when they are young and veterinary immunologists tell us that viral vaccines need only be given once or twice in an animal’s life. First, there is no need for annual vaccinations and, second, they definitely cause chronic disease. As a homeopath, it is almost impossible to cure an animal without first addressing the problems that vaccines have caused to the animal, no matter what the species.” Dr. Christina Chambreau, DVM

Roger, if you want to add: “I have seen many chronic illnesses in dogs and cats following vaccine use. The chief problem is the vaccination routinely of those not really healthy to begin with. They do not respond well and become even more out of balance as a result. If the animal is healthy to start with and mature enough to respond appropriately, then one vaccination is sufficient for life immunity in most instances. It is far better to vaccinate for one thing at a time than combined, multiple diseases in one injection that are very unnatural and confuse the immune system.” Best to you, Dr. Richard Pitcairn, DVM, PhD

Vaccine Induced Disease in Cats and Dogs

“Having been trained conventionally, I initially supported vaccinations, but my observations have gradually shown me that they create much more illness than they prevent. I recommend avoiding vaccination in almost all circumstances, as I believe it mainly creates illness rather than preventing illness.” Dr. Don Hamilton, DVM, a holistic veterinarian who has practiced for over 30 years, writes in Homeopathic Care for Dogs & Cats

“The first thing that must change with routine vaccinations is the myth that vaccines are not harmful. Veterinarians and animal guardians have to come to realize that they are not protecting animals from disease by annual vaccinations, but in fact, are destroying the health and immune systems of these same animals they love and care for. Homeopathic veterinarians and other holistic practitioners have maintained for some time that vaccinations do more harm than they provide benefits. Vaccinations represent a major assault on the body’s immune system…. Vaccine induced chronic diseases range from life-threatening conditions such as auto-immune crises to conditions destroying the quality of life of an animal as in chronic skin allergies.” Dr. Charles E Loops, DVM

“Our ongoing studies of dogs show that following routine vaccination, there is a significant level of antibodies dogs produce against their own tissues…Some of these antibodies have been shown to target the thyroid gland, the connective tissue such as that found in the valves of the heart, red blood cells, DNA etc.” Dr. Larry Glickman, VMD, PhD, ‘Science Behind Vaccine Damage’ by Catherine O’Driscoll, 2/24/09

Roger Biduk - Vaccination What Vets Don't Tell You“The vaccinated but not the non-vaccinated dogs in the Purdue studies developed auto-antibodies to many of their own bio-chemicals including fibronectin, laminin, DNA, albumin, cytochrome C, cardiolipin and collagen.” ‘Science Behind Vaccine Damage’ by Catherine O’Driscoll, 2/24/09

“Introducing foreign material via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection is extremely upsetting… In response to the violation, there have been increased auto-immune diseases, epilepsy, neoplasia, as well as behavioral problems.” Dr. Mike Kohn DVM, ‘Science Behind Vaccine Damage’ by Catherine O’Driscoll, 2/24/09

“Many veterinarians trace the present problems with allergic and immunological diseases to the introduction of MLV vaccines.” Dr. Jean Dodds DVM, Veterinary Hematologist and

“Immunization with an attenuated virus cannot prevent distemper. The author has treated many dogs which have developed distemper despite two or three injections of the preventative agent… He is of the opinion that fits, chorea, hysteria etc. in dogs have become more frequent since the use of distemper vaccine. Successful prevention will never be achieved by inoculation.” Dr. J. E. R. McDonagh, Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons, Bacteriologist, 1987

“When the dog owners who took part in the Canine Health Concerns Survey reported that their dogs developed short attention spans, 73.1% of the dogs did so within three months of a vaccine event. The same percentage of dogs were diagnosed with epilepsy not within three months of a shot but usually within days.” ‘Science Behind Vaccine Damage’ by Catherine O’Driscoll, 2/24/09

“… Canine Health Concerns 1997 study of 4,000 dogs showed a higher number of dogs developing mobility problems shortly after they were vaccinated.” ‘Science Behind Vaccine Damage’ by Catherine O’Driscoll, 2/24/09

“In August 2003, the Journal of Veterinary Medicine carried an Italian study which showed that dogs also develop vaccine induced cancers at their injection sites.” Dr. Charles E. Loop DVM

“The American Veterinary Medical Association Feline Sarcoma Task Force initiated several studies to find out why 160,000 cats each year in the U.S.A. developed terminal cancer at their vaccine injection sites. The fact that cats can get vaccine induced cancer is acknowledged by veterinary bodies around the world…What do you imagine was the advice of the AVMA Task Force… ‘Carry on vaccinating’ … In America to mitigate the problem, they’re vaccinating cats in the tail or leg so that they can amputate when cancer appears… Great advice if it’s not your cat…”. ‘Science Behind Vaccine Damage’ by Catherine O’Driscoll, 2/24/09

“Homeopathic veterinarians and other holistic practioners have maintained for some time that vaccinations do more harm than they provide benefits.” Dr. Charles E. Loops DVM

“You take healthy animals and often very quickly after you vaccinate, you can see simple things like itching of the skin or excessive licking of the paws, sometimes even with no eruptions and licking of the air. We see a lot of epilepsy/seizure, often after a rabies vaccination. Or dogs or cats can become aggressive for several days. Frequently, you’ll see urinary tract infections in cats, often within three months after their [annual] vaccination. If you step back, open your mind and heart, you’ll start to see patterns of illness post-vaccination.” Dr. Dee Blanco, D.V.M

“In a general and frightening context, I see the overall health and longevity of animals deteriorating. The bodies of most animals have a tremendous capacity to detoxify poisons, but they do have a limit. I think we often exceed that limit and overwhelm the body’s immune system function with toxins from vaccines. The most common problems I see that are directly related to vaccines on a day to day basis are ear or skin conditions, such as chronic discharges and itching. I also see behavior problems such as fearfulness or aggression. Often guardians will report that these begin shortly after vaccination and are exacerbated with every vaccine.” Dr. Pat Bradley, DVM

FROM THE EXPERTS – GREAT ARTICLES ON THE DANGERS OF PET VACCINATIONS

Studies suggest that the all the following cause or contributes up to 90%+ of illness and disease in cats and dogs often leading to premature death:

  • Commercial pet foods containing “inappropriate ingredients” including grocery store brands and veterinary “prescription diets”.

  • Frequent / over-vaccinations.

  • Very powerful and often dangerous drugs such as steroids (i.e. Prednisone), antibiotics, corticosteroids and NSAIDs (i.e. Rimadly, Deramaxx).

  • Poisonous, neurotoxic, carcinogenic chemical flea / heartworm pesticides in the form of pills, topical  applications and collars.

“Pet owners have to do their own research, their cats/dogs trust them 100% to do so” says Roger Biduk.
